Foot massage -- you can do it yourself

Have you practiced one of our DIY tips? How does our shoulder massage help you? This week of DIY, I'm introducing you to another kind of massage - DIY foot massage. It might not sound familiar to some of you, but it's popular in some countries in Asia. It helps you to stay healthy and very RELAX!! just in the same way as acupuncture does. But the good thing is that it does not hurt you and of course you can do it by yourself.

Actually according to Chinese medicine, specific areas under the foot are directly related to our body parts and organs as indictaed in the picture. When we massage a section of the foot, the corresponding body area receives specific therapeutic treatment. This hleps to relieve internal discomfort, relax your body and even treat some internal organ diseases.

Here's how to massage your feet. Press down your finger, knuckle or the end of a polished stick to the foot's body part. (You can check which part do you want to apply in the foot chart) Apply some pressure on it. You might feel a little bit hurt. It's just because the internal organ that is related to this are is not function properly. I also post a link here to the videos demonstrating how to do foot massage. http://www.5min.com/Video/Reflexology-Mapping-1301

Feel good..right?
